The Kentucky Derby.
It’s the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about a Mint Julep.
No Derby Party is complete without the Mint Julep which has been the traditional beverage of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby for nearly a century. Luckily, my version contains no alcohol.
How sweet is that?
I mean, what an incredible combination and melding of flavors. You cannot believe the great mint taste that comes through when you muddle it up and let the natural oils mix into the drink. It truly is refreshing.
And guess what?
I will be making this again and again.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
