Receta Blackberry Soda Cracker Pie

- Preheat oven to 325degrees; grease and flour a 9-inch pie plate. In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar till foamy. Beat in 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Gradually beat in 1 c. sugar till stiff peaks form. Mix in the crackers and pecans. Transfer the egg mix to the prepared pie pan, spreading over the bottom and sides. Bake for 35 to 40 min till golden brown; cold. For the filling, in a mixing bowl, beat the cream, 1/3 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla till soft peaks form. Mix in the berries. Spoon into the crust. Store in the Note: Blueberries, blackberries or possibly sliced strawberries may be used in place of the Blackberries.
