Blackberry Walnut Mesclun Salad

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 x clove garlic, chopped Salt and freshly grnd black pepper, to taste
  • 6 c. mesclun or possibly other variety of lettuce
  • 3/4 c. minced yellow bell pepper
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh mint
  • 1 c. fresh Blackberries
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted black walnuts, (see note)
  • 2 Tbsp. crumbled blue cheese

Direcciones

  1. Makes 4 servings. LACTO
  2. In large salad bowl, whisk together vinegar, oil, sugar and garlic; add in salt and pepper. Toss with remaining ingredients; serve immediately.
  3. Makes 4servings.
  4. Note: To toast walnuts, heat a small, dry skillet over medium-high heat. Add in walnuts and toast, stirring often, to prevent burning.
