%20use%20a%20vein%20in%20a%20sort%20of%20odd%20placement%20%E2%80%93%20Adam%20said%20it%20was%20probably%20a%20branch%20of%20the%20cephalic%20vein%20%E2%80%93%20but%20I%20managed%20to%20produce%20a%20full%20pint!%20%20I%20think%20being%20a%20donor%20is%20really%20important,%20I%E2%80%99d%20also%20like%20to%20donate%20marrow%20in%20the%20future,%20and%20I%20am%20so%20excited%20to%20finally%20join%20the%20ranks%20of%20big%20kids%20who%20give%20blood.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20got%20home%20I%20made%20a%20fantabulously%20tasty%20cereal%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20serving%20of%20Barbara%E2%80%99s%20Vanilla%20Almond%20Shredded%20Wheat%20topped%20with%20a%20sliced%20plum,%20a%20sliced%20plucot,%20and%20more%20almond%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20combination%20of%20flavors%20and%20textures%20may%20actually%20be%20my%20favorite%20thing%20ever;%20the%20types%20of%20sweetness%20play%20off%20of%20each%20other%20so%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20a%20tiny%20bit%20of%20work%20in%20the%20morning%20and%20then%20Adam%20and%20I%20had%20errands%20to%20run.%20%20Our%20fridge%20was%20basically%20empty,%20which%20lead%20me%20to%20one%20of%20my%20more%20%E2%80%9Ccreative%E2%80%9D%20concoctions.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20last%20Tbsp%20of%20light%20sour%20cream%20with%20the%20last%20Tbsp%20of%20blue%20cheese%20crumbles,%20a%20few%20capers,%20and%20a%20dash%20of%20A-1%20Steak%20Sauce.%20%20Spread%20on%20top%20of%20a%20Bagel%20Thin.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20actually%20thought%20the%20end%20result%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20bad,%20but%20Adam%20was%20in%20love%20with%20it%20so%20I%20ended%20up%20sharing%20most%20of%20the%20bagel%20with%20him.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20ate%20this%20big%20bunch%20of%20grapes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20this%202%20oz%20mix%20of%20yogurt%20covered%20raisins,%20peanuts,%20and%20pretzels.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20needed%20more%20of%20a%20lunch%20though%20because%20I%20thought%20I%20was%20going%20to%20pass%20out%20from%20hunger%20by%20the%20time%20we%20got%20home.%20Thankfully%20we%20had%207pm%20plans%20so%20there%20was%20an%20excuse%20to%20have%20an%20early%20bird%E2%80%99s%205%20o%E2%80%99clock%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20pretty%20much%20done%20with%20Saigon%20Cafe%20because%20their%20%E2%80%9CThai%20spicy%E2%80%9D%20is%20apparently%20my%20mild%20and%20bland,%20but%20we%20had%20a%20Groupon%20so%20I%20gave%20it%20one%20last%20shot.%20%20Crisp%20tofu%20to%20start.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDeep%20fried%20tofu%20with%20peanut%20sauce,%20it%E2%80%99s%20hard%20to%20go%20wrong.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20four%20pieces%20of%20tofu%20with%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20my%20meal%20I%20ordered%20the%20tofu%20tamarind,%20Thai%20spicy,%20with%20extra%20veggies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20exactly%20would%20this%20dish%20have%20looked%20like%20without%20the%20extra%20veggies?!?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd,%20I%E2%80%99m%20done.%20Saigon%20Cafe%20does%20ok%20noodles%20dishes%20but%20their%20meals%20are%20always%20disappointing.%20I%20ate%20about%20half%20of%20my%20dish%20with%20two%20bites%20of%20rice%20and%20two%20stolen%20bites%20of%20Adam%E2%80%99s%20Pad%20Thai.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20a%20double%20Groupon%20night%20and%20our%20main%20activity%20was%20Art%20By%20You.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20provide%20the%20materials%20and%20a%20quick%20lesson%20and%20you%20provide%20the%20talent,%20or%20not.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20went%20from%20this,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eto%20this,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eto%20this.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%E2%80%99s%20just%20say%20I%E2%80%99m%20artistically%20challenged!%20I%20had%20a%20great%20time%20though!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20thought%20it%20was%20fun%20too,%20and%20it%20was%20great%20to%20do%20something%20artsy%20with%20him.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20weren%E2%80%99t%20ready%20for%20the%20fun%20to%20end%20so%20now%20we%E2%80%99re%20cuddling%20on%20the%20couch%20and%20watching%20%E2%80%9CThat%20%E2%80%9970%E2%80%99s%20Show.%E2%80%9D%20%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20hungry%20all%20day%20so%20I%20did%20dinner%20take%202%20from%20Moe%E2%80%99s.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%E2%80%99s%20a%20kid%E2%80%99s%20quesadilla%20with%20corn%20salsa,%20plus%20chips%20with%20queso%20dip.%20%20I%20also%20snagged%20most%20of%20the%20husband%E2%80%99s%20chips%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99d%20like%20to%20say%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20done%20but%20Adam%20put%20a%20frozen%20pizza%20in%20the%20oven%20and%20I%E2%80%99m%20pretty%20sure%20I%E2%80%99ll%20end%20up%20having%20some.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20putting%20away%20the%20camera%20for%20now%20though.%20%20I%E2%80%99ll%20end%20with%20my%20favorite%20shot%20of%20the%20day.%20%20Whenever%20we%20leave%20him%20alone%20too%20long%20Webster%20gets%20into%20our%20reusable%20bags%20like%20an%20asshole.%20%20When%20we%20got%20home%20this%20evening%20he%20was%20stuck%20in%20one%20of%20them%20and%20wearing%20it%20like%20a%20cape.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20thought%20Adam%20and%20I%20were%20going%20to%20die%20laughing!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20you%20ever%20donated%20blood?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
