Receta Blood Orange Pepper Pot
I decided I wanted a fruity, slightly sweet drink with a little hit of heat. I keep thinking about the drink I had at Bonefish Grill with the jalapeno. Alas, I did not have a jalapeno (which is rare for me) and I was not going to drive to a store to get one. So, I made due and used a little cayenne. Worked great :) However, I still want to make this with jalapeno! This is enough for two drinks. One for you and one for me, or maybe two for me and you go make your own. ;) Enjoy!
Blood Orange Pepper Pot
Yield: 2 drinks
Ready in: less than 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 ounces blood orange juice
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce gold rum
- dash cayenne pepper
- sugar cane swizzle stick
- lime zest
Instructions:
Fill shaker halfway with ice. Add blood orange juice, lime juice, pineapple juice, vodka, gold rum, and a dash of cayenne pepper. Cover shaker and give a good shake. Pour into serving glasses, add a sugar cane swizzle stick (to chew on) and top with some lime zest (for look). Enjoy!
