Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. diced sweet red pepper
  • 1/4 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Blue cornmeal
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • Cooked bacon bits (optional)
  • 1/2 c. diced sweet yellow pepper
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. half & half

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry peppers and onion in vegetable oil till tender. Combine dry ingredients well. Then add in liquid and Large eggs till just moistened. Pour into greased and heated muffin tins. Bake for 25 min at 350 degrees.
