Ingredientes

  • 3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 c. Sugar, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c. Orange juice
  • 2 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 4 med Baking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp Grnd cinnamon Confectioners' sugar

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 2 c. sugar, baking pwdr and salt.
  2. Combine Large eggs, oil, orange juice and vanilla; add in to flour mix and mix well. In a bowl, toss apples with cinnamon and remaining sugar. Spread a third of the batter into a greased 10-in tube pan. Top with half the apples. Repeat layers. Carefully spread remaining batter over apples. Bake at 350 for 55-65 min or possibly till a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cold in pan 15 min before removing to a wire rack; cold. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
