Blue Ribbon Bread Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 c. homogenized lowfat milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 T vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Tear French bread into small pcs. Place into large baking pan. Put together evaporated lowfat milk, homogenized lowfat milk, large eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg; beat with wire whisk. Pour over French bread, sprinkle raisins over mix. Heat butter. Pour over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 min or possibly till pudding is set and golden brown on top. Apples, coconut or possibly pineapple may also be added. Makes 10-12 servings.
