Receta Blueberry-Lime Jam
Blueberry and Lime mixed together wonderfully in this delicious jam. Paired with blueberries, lime adds a clean and fresh taste. The flavor combination of blueberry and lime is a relatively new taste for me, but one I really enjoyed, especially in this jam. If you have never tried this flavor combination, you have got to give it a try. It's delicious! I used Ball Classic Pectin and I found this recipe in: Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving~
- Blueberry and Lime~
- Yield: 6 half-pint jars
- 4 1/2 cups blueberries
- 6 T Ball classic pectin
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 T grated lime peel
- 1/3 cup lime juice
Crush blueberries. Combine crushed blueberries and classic pectin in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil; stirring frequently. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Stir in grated lime peel and lime juice. Return to a rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim foam if necessary. Ladle hot jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space. Adjust two-piece caps. Process 15 minutes in a boiling water canner.
Enjoy!
