Blueberry Pie Chocolate Cake

Ingredientes

  • 3 eggs
  • Slightly less then 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake mix -- (18 1/2 oz)
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • whipped cream (optional -- for serving)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9x13 in baking dish.
  3. Mix eggs, water and oil; beat well Add the dry cake mix and mix only until just mixed. Add the blueberry pie filling and mix maybe 2-3 turns -- you don't want to break up all the berries. Pour into the greased (not floured) baking dish. Tamp bottom of dish on countertop to remove some of the air bubbles and even out the mixture.
  4. Bake 350 for 35-40 minutes, or until top springs back when touched. Top may look moist but really isn't. Knife test does not work on this. Mine took the full 40 minutes.
  5. Top individual servings with dollops of whipped cream if desired.
  6. Good warm or cold.
