Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Chicken necks, backs and wings, or possibly any chick. piece* (up to 2-1/2)
  • 1 c. Minced onion
  • 1 c. Minced celery
  • 1 c. Minced carrots
  • 1/4 c. Tomato juice or possibly V-8 juice Or possibly- minced whole fresh tomatoes
  • 1/4 x Green pepper, minced (up to 1/2)
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 x Potatoes, diced, opt.
  • 1 pkt Mixed vegetasbles or possibly any leftover, veggies
  • 4 ounce Uncooked noodles -Or possibly-, (up to 6)
  • 1/2 c. Dry rice

Direcciones

  1. Turkey and/or possibly turkey frame may also be used for this recipe. Cook chicken in water to cover. When tender, remove from broth and take meat from bones.
  2. Can skim fat from broth. Replace meat in broth. Add in onion, celery, parsley, carrots and tomato juice or possibly tomatoes and seasoniongs. Cook for 30 min at a Low Simmer. Add in potatoes. When potatoes are almost tender, add in vegetables and noodles or possibly rice. Cook till noodles or possibly rice are tender. Can refrigerateand skim the fat before heating and serving. Can substitute leftover or possibly pcs of turkey for the chicken. Variation for Non-Tomato based soup omit tomatoes or possibly tomato juice, increase water and add in 2 Tablespoons lemon juice.
  3. NOTES :This recipe can be added to, deleted from or possibly changed, depending on what is on hand. Served with warm bread, it is a complete meal. We love it.
