Ingredientes

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 level tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 level tbsp. baking pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour, sugar, and baking pwdr. Cut in shortening; mix till crumbly. Stir in buttermilk; mix well with fork. Turn dough onto floured board and knead till no longer sticky. Roll, cut out biscuits, and bake till brown at 425 degrees, about 10-15 min. Brush tops with melted butter before serving. 8 to 10 biscuits.
