%20and%20I%20actually%20had%20all%20of%20the%20ingredients.%20Here%20is%20the%20recipe,%20with%20permission%20from%20Book%20Publishing%20Company:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETomato%20Salad%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChung%20Sik%20Faan%20ke%20Sa%20Leut%20(from%20China)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESlice%20the%20tomatoes%20thinly%20and%20arrange%20them%20on%20a%20serving%20platter.%20Refrigerate%20to%20chill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20the%20dressing,%20combine%20the%20remaining%20ingredients%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20stir%20to%20mix%20well.%20To%20serve,%20sprinkle%20the%20dressing%20evenly%20over%20the%20tomatoes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20recipe%20I%20made%20was%20also%20from%20China:%20Fried%20Rice%20with%20Vegetable%20Fu%20Yang.%20I%20always%20have%20cooked%20brown%20rice%20around,%20so%20this%20was%20a%20great%20way%20to%20use%20it.I%20left%20out%20vegetables%20I%20didn't%20have%20and%20added%20others%20I%20did%20have.%20And%20it%20seemed%20to%20call%20for%20this%20%22vegetarian%20stir%20fry%20sauce%22%20but%20I%20just%20couldn't%20get%20myself%20to%20buy%20the%20stuff%20at%20the%20grocery%20store.%20There%20were%20just%20too%20many%20ingredients%20and%20it%20just%20didn't%20look%20healthy.%20%20So%20I%20added%20in%20some%20extra%20soy%20sauce.%20It%20was%20very%20good%20though%20and%20I'd%20make%20it%20again.%20Pretty%20simple%20dish%20to%20make.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20excited%20to%20try%20some%20of%20the%20other%20recipes%20in%20this%20book.%20I%20do%20see%20that%20it%20does%20call%20for%20a%20lot%20of%20sugar%20and%20that%20%22vegetarian%20stir%20fry%20sauce%22.%20I'll%20probably%20end%20up%20omitting%20the%20latter%20and%20really%20cutting%20down%20on%20the%20sugar%20part.%20I%20will%20have%20to%20see%20what%20I%20can%20get%20at%20my%20Asian%20supermarket.%20Not%20sure%20they%20have%20kaffir%20lime%20leaves,%20fresh%20curry%20leaves,%20abalone%20and%20oyster%20mushrooms,%20or%20fresh%20lemongrass.......%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall,%20it's%20a%20great%20book%20if%20you%20want%20to%20cook%20up%20some%20good%20Asian%20food,%20vegan%20style.%20There%20are%20tons%20of%20different%20types%20of%20recipes%20to%20choose%20from.%20On%20the%20other%20hand,%20I'm%20pretty%20sure%2090%25%20of%20the%20recipes%20call%20for%20sugar.%20But,%20you%20can%20probably%20leave%20it%20out%20or%20replace%20it%20with%20something%20else.%20So%20go%20on%20over%20to%20Book%20Publishing%20Company%20and%20order%20yourself%20a%20copy!%20And%20don't%20forget%20to%20enter%20to%20win%20some%20cool%20free%20books%20too%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E......On%20another%20note,%20I%20still%20need%20your%20help%20on%20my%20upcoming%20trip.%20I%20need%20as%20many%20suggestions%20(foodwise)%20as%20you%20can%20give%20me,%20either%20on%20the%20places%20I'm%20going,%20or%20stuff%20to%20bring%20with%20me,%20so%20please%20check%20out%20my%20trip%20post%20and%20help%20a%20girl%20out!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEat%20smart,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ET.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
