.....imagine%20my%20surprise%20when%20I%20was%20selected%20to%20review%20this%20book!!!!!%20%20*happy%20dance*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20a%20huge%20book%20jam-packed%20with%20over%20200%20grain-free%20recipes.%20%20I%20mean,%20it%20barely%20fit%20inside%20my%20mailbox!%20%20The%20recipes%20are%20easy%20to%20read%20and%20easy%20to%20follow%20with%20very%20clear%20instructions.%20%20I%20am%20not%20kidding%20you,%20its%20true!%20%20I%20have%20certain%20family%20members%20who%20ask%20me%20to%20make%20videos%20because%20sometimes%20they%20say%20a%20recipe%20can%20confuse%20them.%20I%20tend%20to%20be%20camera%20shy%20so%20I%20keep%20refusing.%20%20Anyway,%20I%20digress,%20I%20think%20you%20can%20read%20this%20book%20and%20understand%20clearly%20how%20to%20prepare%20the%20dish%20with%20results%20as%20good%20as%20the%20photos%20inside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpeaking%20about%20the%20Photographs%20inside.%20%20They%20are%20beautiful%20and%20very%20telling.%20%20Very%20large%20and%20colorful%20and%20true%20to%20recipe.%20%20I%20also%20love%20the%20fact%20that%20above%20each%20recipe%20comes%20with%20a%20small%20story.%20%20Not%20too%20wordy%20but%20just%20enough%20to%20fully%20appreciate%20the%20recipe%20and%20understand%20why%20it%20is%20in%20the%20book.%20%20I%20am%20a%20lazy%20reader%20really%20and%20if%20you%20have%20too%20much%20to%20say%20before%20the%20recipe%20I%20may%20just%20not%20make%20it.%20%20LOL.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20I%20worked%20though%20the%20book%20I%20became%20increasingly%20more%20impressed.%20%20I%20am%20not%20pulling%20your%20leg%20here.%20%20If%20you%20are%20not%20the%20cook%20book%20buying%20just-use-what-you-can-find-for-free%20kind,%20you%20may%20want%20to%20make%20an%20exception%20here.%20This%20is%20THE%20book%20you%20should%20buy%20first%20when%20starting%20off%20on%20your%20Paleo%20Adventure.%20%20In%20fact,%20this%20book%20will%20most%20likely%20show%20up%20as%20Pollyanna%20gifts%20this%20Christmas%20:-).%20The%20book%20covers%20may%20food%20related%20issues.%20%20For%20example,%20you%20are%20newly%20Paleo%20and%20don't%20know%20what%20to%20serve%20for%20a%20party?%20%20This%20book%20solves%20that%20problem.%20%20I%20love%20the%20menu%20suggestions%20page.%20%20Each%20little%20menu%20is%20surrounded%20by%20those%20gorgeous%20pictures.%20%20Try%20the%20dark%20chocolate%20cake%20for%20your%20birthday%20parties,%20it%20was%20incredible!%20%20The%20chapter%20called%20%22The%20Paleo%20Kitchen%22%20is%20very%20informative.%20The%20know%20your%20cuts%20and%20seasonal%20produce%20pages%20are%20done%20in%20a%20very%20easy%20to%20understand%20format.%20%20This%20chapter%20also%20covers%20oils,%20herbs%20and%20other%20key%20ingredients.%20%20It%20even%20covers%20thickening%20agents%20which%20was%20a%20hot%20topic%20for%20me%20when%20I%20first%20went%20Paleo.%20%20It%20is%20a%20complete%20and%20through%20Book%20with%20everything%20you%20need%20to%20know%20about%20your%20Paleo%20Kitchen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20did%20I%20make%20anything%20in%20the%20book%20to%20back%20up%20these%20claims?%20%20You%20bet-cha!%20%20In%20fact,%20I%20started%20with%20the%20desserts.%20%20Because%20we%20think%20way%20too%20much%20about%20desserts%20I%20guess.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20up,%20the%20Brownies!%20%20%20The%20best%20we%20ever%20ate,%20in%20fact%20(no%20matter%20what%20diet%20we%20were%20on).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESecond%20in%20the%20line%20up%20of%20tried%20desserts,%20the%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookies%20(made%20into%20a%20cake).%20%20I%20wish%20you%20could%20ask%20the%20recipients%20at%20the%20party%20how%20much%20they%20liked%20it.%20%20I%20just%20used%20my%20oiled%20up%20hands%20to%20smooth%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20on%20my%20hit%20list%20to%20make%20in%20the%20dessert%20arena%20is%20the%20Gingerbread%20cookies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBelow%20are%20the%20Entrees%20that%20children%20liked%20enough%20to%20try%20again.%20%20HEY,%20this%20is%20a%20big%20deal%20around%20here.%20%20I%20happen%20to%20have%20the%20worlds%20most%20picky%20kids.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESmoked%20Paprika%20Chicken%20Thighs.%20%20I%20guess%20we%20love%20the%20flavor%20of%20smoked%20paprika%20around%20here%20and%20it%20is%20a%20key%20ingredient%20to%20our%20favorite%20dinner's%20spice%20blend%20(taco%20seasoning).%20%20Does%20it%20remind%20them%20of%20tacos%20because%20of%20the%20paprika?%20%20I%20don't%20know,%20but%20they%20loved%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHerbed%20Chicken%20Skewers.%20%20Both%20children%20loved%20eating%20their%20meal%20off%20of%20a%20stick!%20%20So%20very%20primal%20right?%20%20LOL.%20%20I%20loved%20how%20quick%20and%20easy%20it%20was%20to%20pull%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELemon%20Garlic%20Roasting%20Chicken.%20%20Now%20the%20name%20of%20this%20recipe%20turned%20me%20off%20initially%20since%20I%20really%20don't%20like%20lemon%20flavored%20foods.%20%20Allow%20me%20to%20assure%20you%20that%20this%20dish%20is%20wonderfully%20flavorful%20and%20the%20lemon%20is%20just%20an%20enhancer.%20%20In%20fact,%20my%207%20year%20old%20daughter%20ripped%20off%20a%20leg%20to%20save%20for%20her%20lunch%20the%20next%20day!!!!%20%20%20%20That%20sort%20of%20stuff%20just%20makes%20me%20smile.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20can%20go%20on%20and%20on%20with%20what%20recipes%20I%20want%20to%20try,%20there%20are%20just%20too%20many.%20%20I%20had%20the%20book%20since%20September%20and%20completely%20lost%20tract%20of%20time.%20%20I%20had%20to%20rip%20myself%20away%20from%20the%20book%20and%20kitchen%20and%20jump%20on%20here%20and%20give%20you%20a%20shout%20out%20about%20it%20so%20the%20list%20stops%20there.%20%20I%20am%20very%20excited%20to%20continuing%20my%20recipe%20trials%20from%20this%20book.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20Final%20Words%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20book%20is%20named%20Paleo%20but%20it%20really%20applies%20to%20everyone%20trying%20to%20follow%20a%20whole%20foods%20diet!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
