Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Pinto beans
  • 8 c. Water
  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 Tbsp. Veg. oil
  • 1 med Onion
  • 1 lrg Garlic clove
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry celery
  • 1 can Tomatoes
  • 2 x Carrots

Direcciones

  1. Wash beans; cover with water and bring to a boil. Cut heat to low and allow beans to simmer about an hour. Saute/fry onions and garlic in oil and add in grnd meat. When brown, add in chili pwdr. Add in meat, parsley, celery and tomatoes to beans. Return to boil; cut heat again to low. Cook about 2 hrs longer. Add in sliced carrots during last hour of cooking. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with corn bread.
