Ingredientes

  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 3/4 c. pastry or possibly cake flour plus more for dusting
  • 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar - (packed)
  • 3 lrg egg whites
  • 1 lrg egg
  • 1 c. plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ounce semisweet chocolate coarsely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. skim lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-inch square cake pan with the cooking spray and dust lightly with flour.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift the flour, cocoa and baking pwdr. In a bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg whites, egg, yogurt and vanilla. Gradually beat in the flour mix till incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 min or possibly till a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cold in the pan.
  4. In a small bowl, heat the chocolate in the lowfat milk in the microwave or possibly in a saucepan over barely simmering water. Let cold slightly. Invert the cake onto a platter and spread with the melted chocolate. Cut the cake into 9 squares and serve.
  5. This recipe yields 9 servings.
