Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. Dry white breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 2 lb Tart green apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 3/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp (generous) cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Bourbon Vanilla ice cream or possibly whipping cream

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter deep 2 qt casserole or possibly baking dish
  2. (preferably with lid). Toss crumbs with butter in medium bowl. Sprinkle 1/3 of crumbs over bottom of casserole. Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon in large bowl. Spread half of apples over crumbs in casserole. Top with half of remaining crumbs, then remaining apples and remaining bread crumbs.
  3. Pour 1/2 c. bourbon over top.
  4. Cover casserole with lid or possibly foil and bake 25 min. Uncover and continue baking till apples are tender and crust is crisp, about 45 min. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature with ice cream or possibly whipping cream.
