Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Boneless chuck roast or possibly steak
  • 1 3/4 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Currant jelly
  • 1 env au jus gravy mix, 3/4 Ounce.

Direcciones

  1. Cut the meat into 3/4 inch slices. Place meat in a 2 qt casserole. Add in 3/4 c. water, vinegar, chopped onion and chili pwdr. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high (100%) 5 min. Microwave at medium (50%) till beef is tender, 36 to 38 min, stirring after half the cooking time.
  2. Stir in currant jelly, gravy mix and remaining water. Microwave at medium high (70%) till mix boils, 3 to 4 min. Serve with rice or possibly noodles.
  3. Makes 6 servings.
