Ingredientes

  • 1 x (3-lb) chicken
  • 2 x Potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Red bean cheese
  • 2 c. Water
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Five spices
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 x -(up to)
  • 3 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Direcciones

  1. Wipe chicken with a damp cloth. With a cleaver, chop, bones and all, in 2-inch sections.
  2. Peel potatoes and cut in 2-inch cubes, but leave in cool water till ready to use.
  3. Mash red bean cheese; then blend with water, soy sauce, sugar, Five Spices and salt.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy pan. Add in remaining salt; then add in chicken sections and brown.
  5. Pour red bean cheese mix over. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  6. Add in potatoes and simmer, covered, till done (about 30 min).
