- Heat the butter in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add in the cabbage and cranberries, sprinkle liberally with salt and stir till completely coated with the butter.
- Stir in the juniper berries and gin. Lower the heat, cover the pan and simmer, stirring often, till the cabbage is just tender, about 12 min.
- Add in honey to taste, leaving the cabbage fairly tart. Season with more salt and pepper.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
