- 1 cup ruby port
- 2 cups fruity red wine
- 2 parsley sprigs
- 2 Turkish bay leaves
- 1 whole star anise
- 2 tablespoons minced, fresh flat leaf parsley
- 3 cups homemade or store-bought less sodium beef broth
