Ingredientes

  • 4 veal chops
  • 1 1/2 cups of white wine
  • 1 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 medium sliced onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves,
  • 2 pieces of carrots, chopped
  • 1 rib of celery, chopped
  • sprinkle of Italian seasoning
  • sprinkle of salt and pepper
  • sprinkle of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tsp oil for browning

Direcciones

  1. Heat up oil in a pan/pot. Brown each side of the veal chops for 3-5 minutes on each side.
  2. Add 1 1/2 cups of white wine. Whatever you got lying around. If you have red wine, well use that instead too. Add 1 tbsp of tomato paste, 2 1/2 cups of water, sliced onions, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves, chopped carrots, and chopped celery. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Sprinkle a little bit of red pepper flakes too is you want.
  3. Simmer in low-heat for 2 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally.
