Ingredientes

  • 2 (16 ounce.) cans yams
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 6 tbsp. Brandy
  • 1/4 c. nuts, minced
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel

Direcciones

  1. Place yams in baking dish. Salt to taste. Combine sugar, salt, and cornstarch in saucepan. Blend in orange juice and raisins. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add in butter, nuts, brandy, orange peel and bring to a boil. Pour over yams. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Sauce will thicken while baking. Serves 8.
