Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil divided
  • 2 x shallots chopped
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 c. sherry vinegar divided
  • 1/2 c. nonfat low-sodium vegetable broth or possibly defatted chicken broth
  • 1/8 tsp grnd red pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. In a medium-size nonstick skillet, heat 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil. Add in shallots and garlic, and saute/fry 2 min or possibly till shallots are translucent/soft and garlic is fragrant. Add in 1/4 c. vinegar and boil till reduced by half. Add in broth and boil 2 min. Stir in remaining oil and vinegar, red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
