- Refrigeratecream throughly, refrigeratebowl and beaters well. Whip chilled cream till stiff (Don't OVER BEAT). Beating the egg, sugar, salt and vanilla.If you want just the basic vanilla mousse for dessert, freeze till hard.
- Otherwise, FOR THE BRAZIL NUT MOUSSE: at this point, add in minced nuts to mousse mix,then freeze till hard. Serve in sherbert glasses. Garnish with nuts and cherries.
- Tootie's Notes: with the basic vanilla mousse recipe you can add in and change and experiment. Holey-Moley-so good in warm August.
