Ingredientes

  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 stk cool butter cut in pats
  • 1/2 c. orange juice zest of one orange
  • 2 Tbsp. orange-flavored liqueur light brown sugar about 1/4 c.

Direcciones

  1. Preaheat oven to 350. Butter standard muffin tins. Whisk the lowfat milk, lowfat sour cream and Large eggs together in a mixing bowl and set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle or possibly using a wooden spoon in a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter till the mix resembles cornmeal. Pour the lowfat sour cream mix into the butter and flour mix and mix till the dough comes together. Don't over mix. Gently fold the orange juice, zest and orange liqueur into the batter. Using an ice cream scoop, fill the muffin c. 3/4 full. Sprinkle the tops with a little brown sugar, about 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. per muffin. Bake in the center of the oven for about 25 min. Immediately turn muffins out of the tins onto a cooling rack.
