Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. golden brown raisins
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 5 slices day-old bread
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Soak raisins in warm water for 5 min. Trim crusts from bread, spread 1 side with butter, cut in half. Put bread butter side up in greased 8 inch baking dish. Drain raisins, sprinkle over bread. Heat lowfat milk and sugar till steaming. Stir in vanilla.
  2. In mixing bowl, beat Large eggs lightly, then gradually stir in warm lowfat milk. Pour mix over bread. Bake uncovered for 30 min in preheated oven at 350 degrees till golden or possibly knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 4.
