Ingredientes

  • 6 slices white bread
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. diced apples
  • 2/3 c. raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon each: cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Toast bread lightly, cut into cubes, place in buttered 6 c. baking dish.
  2. Heat lowfat milk, add in butter till it melts. Pour over bread, let stand 1/2 hour.
  3. Beat Large eggs. Add in sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, apples and raisins. Pour over bread mix. Stir.
  4. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 min or possibly till apples are tender. Serve with cream, whipped cream or possibly ice cream. Serves 6.
