Bread Pudding With Bourbon Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3 tbsp. butter

Direcciones

  1. PUDDING: Break bread into small pcs, add in to lowfat milk in bowl, and soak. Use hands to crush bread and mix well. Add in Large eggs, sugar, vanilla, and raisin; stir well. Grease pan or possibly dish with butter. Pour in pudding and bake 45 min at 350 degrees or possibly till very hard. Let cold. Make holes in cooled pudding (I use chop stick). Pour on warm sauce and serve.
  2. SAUCE: Put sugar and butter in double boiler. Cook till well dissolved. Add in well beaten egg and whip rapidly so egg doesn't curdle. Cold slightly; add in whiskey and pour over pudding and serve warm.
