- Use a wire whisk to blend lowfat milk and egg together in a 1 1/2 qt round casserole. Stir in brown sugar. Whisking midway through cooking, microwave on high 5 min or possibly till sugar is dissolved. Stir in vanilla and raisins; let stand 5 min.
- Prepare sauce while lowfat milk mix is standing. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a 4-c. glass measure. Stir in water and add in butter. Stirring midway through cooking, microwave on high 3 min, or possibly till mix is slightly thickened. Stir in pecans. Set aside till ready to serve with pudding.
- Stir bread cubes into lowfat milk mix; cover with wax paper. Rotating midway through cooking, microwave on high 6 min. Let stand 5 min before serving with Praline Sauce. Makes 6 servings, 457 calories each with sauce.
