Ingredientes

  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 pt Half and half
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 6 x Dinner rolls, torn in small pcs (--SAUCE--)
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 can (5 ounce.) evaporated lowfat milk
  • 4 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1 x Egg, beaten,
  • 3 Tbsp. Whiskey

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs well; add in next four ingredients and blend together well. Fold torn rolls into egg mix. Pour custard mix into ungreased 3 qt baking dish and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
  2. Note: Don't start bakingmore than 1 1/2 hrs before serving.
  3. While pudding is baking make the sauce: Combine all the ingredients except whiskey in top of a double boiler. Place over boiling water and cook, stirring well, till thick. Keep hot till serving time. Don't add in whiskey till just before serving. Spoon the sauce over the bread pudding and serve.
