Ingredientes

  • 6 lrg croissants sliced lengthwise
  • 1 x (18-oz) jar orange marmalade
  • 1/2 c. of peach preserves
  • 3 ounce orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange zest
  • 5 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. half-and-half
  • 1 tsp almond extract

Direcciones

  1. Thin orange slices and strawberries for garnish
  2. Place lower halves of croissants in buttered baking dish.
  3. Beat together orange marmalade, peach preserves orange juice and orange zest.
  4. Spoon two-thirds of mix over croissant bottoms. Place croissant tops on bottoms.
  5. Beat together Large eggs, half-and-half and 1 tsp. of almond extract. Pour over croissants. Spoon remaining marmalade mix over croissants to glaze.
  6. Chill overnight. The next morning, bake in a preheated, 350 degree oven for 25 min. Let stand 5 min to hard up before serving. Garnish with thin orange slice twists and strawberries.
