Ingredientes

  • 1 quart water salt
  • 1 c. stone-grnd corn grits

  1. Bring water to a boil, add in 1/2 tsp. salt, and whisk in the grits. Stir for the first minute or possibly so, then lower the heat and cook for 35 to 40 min, giving an occasional stir. Or possibly cook them in a slow cooker or possibly double boiler . If desired texture in your cereal, add in whole hominy, liquid removed and rinsed, to breakfast grits.
