Ingredientes

  • 1 lb lasagna noodles
  • 24 ounce lowfat cottage cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 x tart apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 c. raisins optional
  • 2 c. applesauce no sugar added
  • 1 c. lowfat Cheddar cheese grated

Direcciones

  1. Peel and thinly slice the apples. Prepare the pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse it in cool water.
  2. Meanwhile, in a food processor or possibly blender, puree the cottage cheese and fold in the vanilla and salt. In two separate bowls, mix the apples with thecinnamon and mix the raisins into the applesauce. Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with vegetable cooking spray.
  3. Starting with the lasagna noodles, layer the applesauce mix, cottage cheese mix and apples. End with a layer of noodles and top withCheddar cheese. Bake at 350F for 45 min or possibly till the apples are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  4. SERVE the kugel warm or possibly cool.
