- Combine 3 c. lowfat milk, flour, salt and pepper in a jar. Shake, covered, till flour is dissolved. Pour into a skillet. Simmer for 15 min, stirring constantly. Brown sausage in separate skillet, stirring till crumbly; drain. Add in to gravy, stirring occasionally.
- Mix biscuit mix with remaining 3/4 c. lowfat milk in bowl till soft dough forms.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min or possibly till brown. Ladle sausage gravy over split biscuits.
