Bret Favre's Mother's Cajun Chili

Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Grnd chuck
  • 1 can (12-ounce) tomato juice (more if needed)
  • 1 can (10.5-ounce) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 x Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 x Onion, minced
  • 1 can (16-ounce) kidney beans
  • 1 can (12-ounce) beer
  • 4 x -(up to)
  • 6 Tbsp. Commercial chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt Diced cheddar cheese and fritos, for garnish

Direcciones

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef till no longer pink. Drain off fat and transfer to a large pot along with the remaining ingredients except the garnishes. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer 3 hrs, adding more tomato juice if necessary.
  2. Adjust seasonings and serve with Cheddar cheese and Fritos.
  3. Makes 4servings.
