Ingredientes

  • 1 bn Broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 sm Onion, chopped
  • 2 c. Chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 c. Water, cool
  • 2 Tbsp. Sherry
  • 3/4 c. Cheese, Parmesan
  • 2 tsp Basil
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in large saucepan and saute/fry onion. Cut broccoli into small pcs. Add in to saucepan with chicken broth. Cook till just tender. In small bowl mix flour and water. Add in flour mix to soup, stirring till thickened. Season with sherry, cheese, basil. Add in lowfat milk and simmer for 20 min. Do not let the soup come to a boil or possibly it will curdle. You may substitute cream for 1 c. of the lowfat milk to make the soup richer and creamier.
