Brown Sugar Rub For Fish

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Kosher (coarse) salt
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic pwdr
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Onion pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Dill weed
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Savory

Direcciones

  1. Mix together all ingredients breaking up any clumps.
  2. Coat filets with a heavy layer, reserving a couple of Tbsp. for later use.
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 3-4 hrs.
  4. Unwarp and thoroughly rinse with cool water. You must rinse VERY clean, otherwise the fish will be much too salty.
  5. Let fish sit out till it becomes slightly tacky, about 1 hour.
  6. Prior to cooking, sprinkle with fresh grnd black pepper and the remaining rub.
  7. Grill or possibly broil till fish flakes easily with a fork. No need to turn over!
