Receta Brownie Swirl Cheesecake

- To make the crust: Grease the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Prepare basic brownie mix as directed on package; pour proportionately into springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
- To make cheesecake: Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed with electric mixer till well-blended. Add in Large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour over brownie layer. Spoon melted chocolate over cream cheese mix; cut through batter with a knife several times for a marbled effect.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- With a knife, carefully loosen cake from rim of pan. Cold completely before removing rim. Refrigeratefor 8 hrs for best results. Serve garnished with whipped cream, if you like. Cheesecake will be shallow and dense.
- Instead of an 8-oz package of brownie mix, you can prepare a 16-oz box of brownie mix, using half for the cheesecake crust and the other half for brownies.
