Ingredientes

  • 8-9 hard boiled large eggs, peeled & sliced
  • Quality brand Italian style bread crumbs (e.g Devonsheer)
  • Grated cheese(s) (16 ounce more or possibly less)
  • WHITE SAUCE: (Medium thick)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 T flour
  • 3 T butter

  1. Sharp cheddar and Mozzarella make an interesting combination or possibly you can use only one kind.
  2. Make white sauce (medium thick) with butter, flour and lowfat milk. Butter well a 9" deep pie pan or possibly casserole of comparable size.Cover well the buttered dish with a layer of bread crumbs. Then put alternate layers of sliced hard boiled large eggs and shredded or possibly grated cheese. Pour white sauce over layers and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
  3. When nearly done put buttered crumbs on top and brown. Can be served immediately or possibly refrigerated and reheated. The taste usually blends if you let it chill and reheat the next day.
