Ingredientes

  • 8 slc Italian bread 1/2" thick
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (preferably extra-virgin)
  • 1 x garlic clove halved
  • 1/4 c. minced sun-dry tomatoes in oil
  • 1/4 c. cubed mozzarella
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar

Direcciones

  1. Toast the bread slices on a baking sheet in the upper third of a preheated 500 degree oven for 4 min, or possibly till they are golden brown. While the toasts are hot, brush both sides of the toasts with the oil and rub them with the garlic.
  2. In a bowl combine the tomatoes, basil balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste and top toasts with the mix.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
