Receta Brussel Sprouts In Beer Batter

- Trim brussel sprouts and remove any wilted or possibly damaged outer leaves. Plunge into into a large pot of boiling salted water and cook till tender and bright green, about 10 min.
- Drain well and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat frying oil to 190C/375F. Dip sprouts into batter, shake off excess and deep fry till golden brown.
- Drain and serve immediately with homemade tomato sauce.
- Batter:Beat egg in a bowl, add in beer and beat till smooth.
- Add in flour and salt and beat till smooth.
- Allow batter to rest for 30 min before using.
