sage%20the%20breast%20all%20over%20to%20spread%20it%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20chicken%20into%20the%20slow%20cooker%20and%20pour%20the%20stock%20into%20the%20bottom.%20Cover%20and%20cook%20for%205%20hours%20on%20the%20high%20setting,%20or%2010%20hours%20on%20low.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20the%20chicken%20from%20the%20cooker.%20Set%20aside%20and%20keep%20warm%20while%20you%20make%20the%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20the%20sauce,%20spoon%20off%20all%20of%20the%20excess%20fat%20from%20the%20cooking%20liquid.%20Whisk%20the%20remaining%20juices%20in%20a%20pan%20over%20medium%20heat,%20along%20with%20the%20cornstarch%20which%20you%20have%20mixed%20together%20with%20a%20bit%20of%20water.%20Whisk%20constantly%20until%20the%20mixture%20comes%20to%20a%20simmer%20and%20thickens.%20Simmer%20for%203%20to%204%20minutes%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECarve%20the%20chicken%20and%20place%20servings%20on%20heated%20plates%20along%20with%20some%20vegetables%20and%20spooning%20some%20of%20the%20sauce%20over%20top.%20Delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBaking%20in%20The%20Cottage%20today,%20a%20delicious%20Mother's%20Coffee%20Cake%20with%20a%20Lemon%20Glaze!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
