"Buttermilk" Biscuits

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Soy lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 8 ounce Silken tofu, hard
  • 2 Tbsp. White miso
  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Baking soda Preheat oven to 450F & oil baking sheets.

Direcciones

  1. Combine soy lowfat milk & lemon juice & let stand for 5 min. Blend tofu till smooth & then blend in the soy lowfat milk/lemon juice mix along with hte miso. Set aside.
  2. Sift together the dry ingredients & fold into the blended mix.
  3. Turn onto a lightly floured surface & form into a ball. Roll out dough to a 1/2" thickness. Cut with a cookie cutter. Put on baking sheets & bake for 12 min or possibly till golden brown.
