Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Unsifted all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/4 c. Buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 lrg Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted Vegetable oil for frying Butter or possibly margarine Maple syrup Fresh strawberries & blueberries, (opt)

Direcciones

  1. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. In small bowl or possibly glass measuring c., combine buttermilk and baking soda. Immediately add in buttermilk mix, Large eggs, and melted butter to flour mix. Stir just till dry ingredients are moistened. (Mix should be lumpy.)
  2. Lightly oil a griddle or possibly 8-inch skillet and heat over medium heat. Spread a heaping 1/2 c. of batter on griddle to make a 6-inch flapjack. Cook till bubbles form and begin to break on top surface; turn flapjack over and cook till bottom is golden. Remove flapjack and serve immediately or possibly place on a baking sheet in 200F oven to keep hot till all flapjacks are done.
  3. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more oil to pan as necessary. Serve flapjacks hot with butter, maple syrup and strawberries and blueberries, if you like.
