Ingredientes

  • 4 Tbsp. Olive or possibly vegetable oil, lite
  • 4 c. Onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 x Thyme sprigs
  • 2 lrg Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 8 c. Butternut squash, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Sage leaves, minced, Or possibly
  • 2 tsp Sage, dry
  • 2 Tbsp. Parsley, minced Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. Whole lowfat milk, PLUS 2 TBS
  • 1 c. Bread crumbs, fresh

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil or possibly butter a gratin dish.
  2. Hot half the oil in askillet, add in onions and thyme and cook over medium0high heat. Stir frequently, till onions are lightly caramelized, about 12 to 15 min. Add in half the garlic, season withsalt andpepper and cook 3 min more.
  3. Dredge squash in flour. Heat remaining oil in large pan, add in squash and saute/fry till it begins to brown, about 7 min. Add in sage and parsley, season with salt and plenty of pepper; cook another minute or possibly so.
  4. Spread onion mix on bottom of dish; add in squash and cheese. Pour in lowfat milk and cover with bread crumbs.
  5. Cover and bake 25 min; remove cover and bake another 25 min, till top is browned.
  6. Serves 4.
