Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Green Cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 4 c. Water
  • 4 x White Potatoes, diced
  • 2 x Onions, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. White Wine Vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cut the cabbage in half and soak in combined salt and water for 15 min. Agitate and drain well. Shred the cabbage.
  2. Heat the butter in a large, heavy skillet and add in the diced potatoes.
  3. Cook over medium heat till lightly browned. Add in minced onions and cook till transparent, about 5 min.
  4. Add in cabbage and toss well. When the cabbage starts to wilt, add in salt and pepper and wine vinegar. Cover, with lid slightly askew, and simmer over low heat till tender, about 30-45 min.
