- SALT PEPPER
- BRING SOUP BACK TO A BOIL
- THEN REDUCE HEAT TO MEDIUM
- PARTIALLY COVER THE POT
- COOK UNTIL THE POTATO AND CARROTS ARE TENDER
- 15 TO 20 MINUTES
- REMOVE BAY LEAF BEFORE SERVING
