  • 3 to 4 cups – Cabbage chopped
  • 3 tbsp – Split green gram / moong dal / paasi paruppu
  • 1 no – Onion (chopped finely)
  • 2 or 3 nos – Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp – Coriander leaves chopped finely
  • Salt to taste Seasonings:
  • 1 tsp – Oil
  • 1/4 tsp – Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp – Split black gram / Ulunthu/ urad dal
  • 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds / jeera
