Ingredientes

  • 5 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 pch Mustard seeds
  • 2 x Green chiles, seeded & minced
  • 2 lb Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pch Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Coconut, fresh, grated
  • 2 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Water

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet & fry mustard seeds till they begin to pop. Add in chiles, cabbage & turmeric & cook gently for about 5 min. Cover & cook till the cabbage is tender.
  2. Mix the dry mustard with the water to make a paste. Add in the paste along with the remaining ingredients to the skillet. Cook, stirring, till the liquid has almost been absorbed. Serve with boiled rice or possibly bread.
